Najla AlSaleem is a Saudi artist who was born in Riyadh, and is currently based there. She is the daughter of the late artist Mohammad Al-Saleem – one of the pioneers in the country. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Chemistry at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Eastern Michigan University, USA. Najla is influenced by the Horizonism style of the desert school, which was the style of her father, and she still draws this technique developed by her distinct style and personality
