Maïmouna Guerresi spent her life between Italy and Senegal and was inspired by his personal experiences in creating his works which reflects his multiculturalism and the exaltation of spirituality, from which the artist reaches his full potential and expresses his seductive symbolism and aesthetic contemplation.
The woman is a recurring theme. In her sculptures, the characters blend with their outfits, thus becoming quasi-architectural works. His series "The Giants" erects bodies into divine temples.
